SALES ASSOCIATE (Full Time)

The Sales Associate is responsible for representing Corvette America to current and potential customers by interacting with them in person, on the phone and online in a professional and courteous manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • • Field catalog requests from first time callers and assure the customer’s phone number and mailing address is obtained.
  • • Request the year of the customer’s car and find out the specific needs for the car.
  • • Provide the customer with the rep’s point of contact information.
  • • Establish and setup wholesale accounts by determining if they are an automotive related business.
  • • Field orders from wholesale and retail accounts/customers by providing the customer with current prices and availability.
  • • The Sales Associate must inform the customer of any details relating to the length of time before they receive their order, any pricing specials, and any credit the customer may have.
  • • Miscellaneous duties such as meeting with walk-in customers, retrieving customer’s samples and getting information to help solve any customer problems.
  • • Attend and work at yearly Carlisle Car Shows as scheduled.

MINIMUM PRIOR KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS

  • • High school diploma necessary and three to five years’ experience preferred working in automobile restoration industry.
  • • Must be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and AS400 environments.
  • • Possess assertiveness skills and remain calm in stressful situations.
  • • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • • Knowledgeable about Corvettes and the interior parts of Corvettes.
  • • Possess an outgoing and personable personality.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The Sales Associate will be occasionally required to stand, walk, reach, squat, and lift or move up to 30 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The Sales Associate works in a well-lighted, temperature controlled environment.

Receiving/Shipping/OP Associate (Full Time)

Position shared among Receiving, Shipping and Order Processing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • • Accuracy and quality of shipments received.
  • • Stocking product in the warehouse.
  • • Verify product pulled match customer order.
  • • Printing accurate shipping labels.
  • • Processing paperwork.
  • • Products packaged to minimize risk of shipping damage and are compliant with shipping regulations.

Qualifications

Heavy lifting, ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time, fast paced environment, attention to detail, and ability to follow directions required. Forklift, AS400, and/or MRP-XA software experience a plus.

Sewing (Full Time)

Monday thru Friday – 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Minimum Starting Wage - $10.50 per hour.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • • Follow work instructions to properly sew products using correct machine settings, materials and thread.
  • • Inspect material to ensure quality standards are met.
  • • Properly shut down and organize workstation at day end.
  • • Maintain and keep needed supplies and tools stocked.

Qualifications

  • • High school diploma or equivalent
  • • Good communication skills - written, verbal, listening and attention to detail.
  • • Basic computer skills.
  • • Basic math skills.
  • • Good manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
  • • Knowledge and skill in operating sewing machines a plus. We are willing to train.

Manufacturing Floater Job Position (Full Time)

Monday thru Friday – 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Minimum Starting Wage - $10.50 per hour.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • • Entry level laborer position. Candidate would be cross trained in various departments in manufacturing environment. Basic computer and math skills, manual dexterity and the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs required.

Qualifications

  • • Qualified candidates must have a solid work history, be detail oriented and self-motivated. The candidate must also have the ability to work on their feet all day.
