SALES ASSOCIATE (Full Time)

The Sales Associate is responsible for representing Corvette America to current and potential customers by interacting with them in person, on the phone and online in a professional and courteous manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • • Field catalog requests from first time callers and assure the customer’s phone number and mailing address is obtained.
  • • Request the year of the customer’s car and find out the specific needs for the car.
  • • Provide the customer with the rep’s point of contact information.
  • • Establish and setup wholesale accounts by determining if they are an automotive related business.
  • • Field orders from wholesale and retail accounts/customers by providing the customer with current prices and availability.
  • • The Sales Associate must inform the customer of any details relating to the length of time before they receive their order, any pricing specials, and any credit the customer may have.
  • • Miscellaneous duties such as meeting with walk-in customers, retrieving customer’s samples and getting information to help solve any customer problems.
  • • Attend and work at yearly Carlisle Car Shows as scheduled.

MINIMUM PRIOR KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS

  • • High school diploma necessary and three to five years’ experience preferred working in automobile restoration industry.
  • • Must be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and AS400 environments.
  • • Possess assertiveness skills and remain calm in stressful situations.
  • • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • • Knowledgeable about Corvettes and the interior parts of Corvettes.
  • • Possess an outgoing and personable personality.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The Sales Associate will be occasionally required to stand, walk, reach, squat, and lift or move up to 30 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The Sales Associate works in a well-lighted, temperature controlled environment.

Receiving Associate (Full Time)

RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary responsibilities include unloading shipments (either by hand or forklift), ensuring accuracy and quality of shipments received, repackaging products, stocking warehouse and entering information into the inventory database (AS400). Additional duties include but are not limited to processing customer returns and inspecting items, as well as having interaction with the sales and manufacturing departments. Forklift experience a plus. High School Diploma or Equivalent QUALIFICATIONS: Solid work history, detail oriented, ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time, lift a minimum of 50 lbs., and basic computer skills.

Black Foam Associate (Full Time)

RESPONSIBILITIES: Properly setup and prepare the department each morning for the day’s production, including the retrieval of all needed raw materials.  Setup and calibrate the dispensing equipment, placing floor matting in the desired location, and preparing the correct molds for the day’s production. Safely and efficiently produce quality RIM molded products throughout each day by inspecting, correctly heating, waxing, and placing product in each mold prior to pouring foam into the mold to reduce air pockets or other imperfections, clamping the mold and allowing the foam to cure. Maintain the dispensing equipment to ensure its efficient and continued operation by correctly disassembling the machine head each day, thoroughly removing all excess raw materials from each component, lubricating the appropriate mechanisms, replacing worn components, and ensuring the water tank remains full for proper purging. Properly measure separate foam components, combine and manually mix in preparation for pouring into a prepared mold or subassembly Communicate clearly with Research and Development regarding mold performance. Properly shut down, organize and clean the production area at the end of each day. Other duties as assigned High School Diploma or Equivalent

Graphic Designer (Full Time)

Corvette America has an opening for a full-time, in-house Graphic Designer to join our Marketing/Advertising Department. Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining numerous multi-media campaigns in a variety of mediums — print, digital, social media, video and direct mail. Duties include product photography, email development, print catalog design, website graphics / content management & print & online advertising. Ideal candidate must be able to work on multiple projects and be deadline & detail oriented. Expertise using MAC OS with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator is a must. Knowledge of DreamWeaver, HTML & CSS desired. Knowledge of the Automotive Industry is a plus.
